Osama Yazid Alnajjar

Osama Yazid Alnajjar is the digital cybersecurity risk and compliance head of ADNOC Distribution, the UAE’s leading fuel and convenience retailer. He is responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of the company’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and standards, as well as ensuring compliance with local and international regulations and best practices.

With over 20 years of experience in the cybersecurity field, Osama has led several initiatives to enhance the security posture and resilience of ADNOC Distribution’s digital assets, including risk assessment, threat intelligence, incident response, and awareness programs. He has also established and maintained effective relationships with key stakeholders, such as regulators, customers, vendors, and partners, to foster a culture of security and trust.

Osama holds a bachelor’s in electrical and Electronics Engineering from Near East university, and has obtained several professional certifications, such as Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional – GICSP. He is also an active member of the cybersecurity community, participating in conferences, events, and publications. He is passionate about innovation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies, and how they can be leveraged to create value and mitigate risks.
